Terms
The rules of the platform, in the same plain language as everything else here.
The service
RideShield ("the service") is a driver trust and verification platform, operated by the Loadcircle app family. It verifies that drivers and their documents are legitimate, current, and compliant, and keeps an immutable record of every decision.
RideShield is not a ride-hailing marketplace, an insurer, a regulator, or a law firm. It is verification infrastructure.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you upload and the information you provide. Uploading a document that is not yours, or falsified, is grounds for immediate suspension of your account.
Accounts are personal. Roles (driver, reviewer, admin) are granted, audited, and revocable.
Verification decisions
Every verification is decided by a human reviewer, with a written reason that becomes part of a permanent record. Automated tooling may pre-assess documents, but it never decides — its output is advisory and attributed.
A verification outcome is an operational decision by the operator of the platform, not a legal certification, insurance, or regulatory approval. It does not replace any licence, permit, or legal requirement in your jurisdiction.
Suspension and reinstatement
Accounts may be suspended or reinstated by administrators where documents lapse, verification fails, or these terms are breached. Every such action is recorded in the audit trail with its actor and reason. Trust scores are advisory numbers; they never suspend an account by themselves.
Acceptable use
No attempts to access another user's documents or cases, to probe or bypass the authorisation model, to upload malicious files, or to interfere with the audit trail. The record-keeping tables are append-only at the database level; tampering attempts fail and are logged.
Availability and changes
The service is offered in private build with a small cohort, on Cloudflare's global network. We aim for high availability but provide the service as-is during this period. Material changes to the service or these terms will be dated on this page.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Loadcircle app family is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions, DSARs, and notices: privacy@loadcircle.co.uk.
